As of Tue, Jan 22, 2013 the course has decided. It will be similiar to the 2012 course but the initial direction of travel has been modified to eliminate the crossover.

The course length is 4.5 km.

2013 EOA Course

The following individual gear is required for the competition:

  • OHIP card (you need this to get on the bus)
  • skis, poles and boots
  • Sunscreen - SPF 30 min for outdoor activities
  • Water bottle
  • Hot packs
  • Two pairs of gloves - one for use prior to racing and to keep you warm and the other pair for racing only.
  • Balaciava - to cover your face on extreme cold days
  • Neck covering - fleece or polypropylene collar
  • Lots of socks so you can change as required. Polypropylene next to skin works great to wick moisture away and keep feet dry.
  • Enough clothing to enable dression in layers for max warmth.
  • 2870 Toque. If you don't have one let me know.
  • 2870 warm up pants and jacket (to be issued)
  • Sunglasses
